Need a homework buddy or an in-the-moment, on-demand coach? This intelligent agent is here to help you implement the tools in real time!

RepairBot has been trained on the entire ROGD Repair toolkit; every episode of my podcast; my Frequently Asked Questions; and even transcripts of real coaching sessions with families like you (don't worry — they consented to this usage).

This way, you can get help when you need it, applying tools in real time.

RepairBot is free to all, but has a built-in message limit. You can upgrade here to RepairBot Unlimited and get all the text and voice based support you need.

You're on the page to purchase just RepairBot Unlimited. If you aren't already enrolled in ROGD Repair, you can purchase a bundle of ROGD Repair + RepairBot here. Since you're here instead, you're probably already enrolled in ROGD Repair. Completing your purchase here will tack this service on to your membership.

Since we're in beta, please be patient. Stephanie has to manually give you access to RepairBot. Feel free to test drive RepairBot while you're waiting, and then she will upgrade you to unlimited access.

Here are some things RepairBot can do for you

☎️ You can call RepairBot

💡 RepairBot is trained not only on my entire body of work, but also my voice. Simply call it up using the Voice button!

💡 Members who have registered their email address get 10 voice call minutes a month free, while upgrading to RepairBot Unlimited will give you unfettered access to both voice and text.

🧠 RepairBot remembers you

💡 RepairBot can follow up on things you've discussed before. The more you share about your situation, the better RepairBot understands the particulars you're looking for help with and can guide you to the right concepts.

💡 Refer to information you shared in the past. RepairBot will naturally follow up, check in, and even hold you accountable for following through on action items you discussed.

👩‍💻 RepairBot is especially helpful when prompted to reference specific concepts it's trained on

💡 Whether you're new to ROGD Repair or just need a refresher, try looking up a lesson title that seems relevant or interesting, and ask it to summarize the concept for you or help you apply it to a given situation.

💡 If you've worked with me 1:1 as a coach and we've discussed particular concepts from the course that apply to your situation, ask RepairBot for help analyzing a situation through the lens of that framework.

📎 You can upload information to RepairBot

💡 Got written notes about your sticky situation, or perhaps a text or email from your child that you're looking for help responding to? Upload it to RepairBot using the paperclip icon in the area where you type. Ask for its help analyzing and planning using the ROGD Repair principles.

💡 Try choosing specific principles from the course or from our coaching work together that you'd like to apply to the situation.

💡 If you're one of my 1:1 coaching clients, you can even upload entire transcripts of our conversations and ask RepairBot for additional insights, or to analyze it through the framework of a given lesson from the course we've discussed. (Coaching clients get transcripts as part of our work together!)

🧵 You can have multiple conversation threads

💡 When you're logged in here, just click on the 3 horizontal lines in the upper left corner to see your chat history or start a new thread.

⚕️RepairBot knows medical literature

💡 Ask RepairBot for facts about any specific medical intervention. Just be sure to separate your own learning process from the process of figuring out how, whether, and when to convey this information to your child.

💡 As my focus is psychology and communication, I don't ever want to overshadow the cautionary message that conveying the medical harms of "gender affirming care" to youth can backfire. That said, it's important to know the facts for yourself while formulating a skillful approach to communication. So, since I still had some training data capacity left after uploading my entire body of work, I also trained RepairBot on sites like statsforgender.org, which it can cite for you. On that note…

🔍 RepairBot can share citations

💡 Citation sharing is turned on for most types of data.*

💡 Hover over the bottom of its chat bubble and the Citations button will appear.

💡 External links will be easy to access from there. For data I've personally uploaded, such as course lessons, we're in a process of training RepairBot where to find these files on the web so it can point you in the right direction.

💡 If you ever see a citation that seems random or disconnected to your answer, report this glitch to [email protected]

🌏 RepairBot is everywhere

💡 You can access it from ROGDRepairBot.com, which will redirect to its home base, delphi.ai/stephanie-winn

💡 RepairBot is also now embedded as a chat bubble in the bottom right corner of ROGDrepair.com, stephaniewinn.com, and even sometherapist.com

📈 RepairBot can operate at different levels

💡 RepairBot can do all kinds of things, depending on who you are and what you need.

💡 If you're new to my body of work, it can answer frequently asked questions or give a basic run-down.

💡 If you're well into the ROGD Repair curriculum and working with me as a coach, RepairBot can go much deeper as a sounding board, brainstorming partner, or homework aid. On that note…

✍️ RepairBot can write scripts

💡 When asked to do so, RepairBot can get very detailed and help you draft precise language. In general, its communication style is kind and assertive, so these words tend to land well with parents who request them.

💡 Since I do similar work when coaching clients who've spent hours painting a detailed picture of their family for me, here's a tip: consider these scripts a starting point, which can improve with more knowledge of the personalities involved and by applying specific frameworks you select from the course or coaching.

💡 Try scrutinizing a script by asking how I might warn it could backfire, or how master negotiator Chris Voss (whose work I cite often in the course) would suggest doing it differently.

💡 Ask if the script could benefit from an accusation audit, a strategic apology, or alter-casting.

💡 Remember: scripts are for practicing spoken communication, which is meant to be natural and face-to-face whenever possible! We don't write letters in ROGD Repair unless we truly have no other options.

🗣️ RepairBot speaks 40+ languages

💡 If English isn't your first language, speaking in your native tongue has many benefits —you can think more spontaneously and access a broader range of words, often with a deeper connection to your instincts and emotions.

💡 Try speaking to it in your own language and see what happens!

♾ RepairBot Unlimited is available

💡 If you're loving what RepairBot can do for you, you can upgrade to RepairBot Unlimited for all you need — text or call anytime, 24/7. Simply bundle it with an ROGD Repair subscription here, or add it to your existing ROGD Repair subscription here.

💡 Just be aware that since Delphi (the platform hosting RepairBot) doesn't yet have built-in monetization, when you purchase one of these packages through Teachable, I have to manually input your email address into the "Insiders" category of people who get unlimited access, once I'm notified of your purchase. I try to do this right away, but sometimes it takes a beat.

💡 Alternatively, there's another category of people who gets free RepairBot Unlimited: my coaching clients who opt-in to using their anonymized transcripts to training RepairBot. When you sign up to work with me 1:1, you automatically get transcripts of each appointment so you can review what we discuss. I ask if you'd like to opt-in or opt-out of using these transcripts to train RepairBot, with names removed and citations hidden.* If you're interested in working with me 1:1, download the PDF here that explains my coaching process and answers frequently asked questions. I find it displays well on a tablet.

*We have citation sharing turned on for most material, meaning RepairBot has permission to show you where it's getting its info. Over the next few weeks, it will get better at pointing you to specific URLs on the web where its information can be found. Citation sharing is turned off for one small but crucial piece of RepairBot's training data: transcripts from real coaching sessions. To protect privacy, these transcripts are a) used with explicit consent of the parties involved; b) anonymized; and c) uploaded in such a way that even if RepairBot uses them to help formulate a response, you'll never see them.

✋ All of that being said… here are some possible downsides

Please keep in mind that RepairBot is in beta — still learning and improving. We humbly ask for your patience with these potential glitches, which are common for AI.

😵‍💫 RepairBot can hallucinate

Most commonly, it makes up names of ROGD Repair lessons and podcast guests that sound believable, but aren't real. I've trained it on my entire body of work, and given specific instructions to stick to the material, so the problem isn't a lack of information or instructions. I'm in direct touch with the leaders at Delphi — the program I used to build RepairBot — about this issue. To ensure you're getting accurate information, you can use the "citations" feature beneath RepairBot's messages to you to view sources*, or ask it to point you to where material can be found. If it can't, ask if it's hallucinating. We're also working on the back end to connect lesson videos to their correct titles and links within the ROGD Repair program. It will take a few weeks to get everything seamlessly aligned, so that RepairBot can point you to the exact lesson it's referencing. In the meanwhile, report any issues to [email protected]

😃 RepairBot can be too nice

Sycophancy is another common problem in the world of AI. I've given RepairBot instructions to remain analytical and not overly complimentary. Why is any lingering niceness an issue? Mainly because, in the process of trying to make you feel good about yourself…

🤦‍♀️ RepairBot can recommend things I wouldn't

Don't get me wrong. Overall, RepairBot is doing a good job and getting great feedback; otherwise, I wouldn't let it roam free. But a chatbot will never substitute for the deeper, harder, but ultimately more rewarding process of studying the ROGD Repair program and working with me as a coach. And it doesn't seem to yet have a holistic understanding of all the concepts at once. For instance, only under rare circumstances do I recommend writing a letter to your child. But I recently saw RepairBot help a mother draft a letter to her child, presumably because a) this was the mom's suggestion, which RepairBot instinctively complimented; and b) RepairBot applied some concepts from the course (eg communication tools) while ignoring others (advice against letter writing). The letter was well-written, and the mom liked the support she received. But if RepairBot had integrated a mature understanding of my approach, it would advise her that we only write letters for personal clarity on what we want to say — not to actually send them, nine times out of ten. Fortunately, I work with this mom 1:1 so we'll have a chance to discuss her plan. So, on that note, please remember…

💪 There's no substitute for the whole package

Ultimately, if you're 100% determined to do absolutely everything in your power to help your kid, I recommend a combination of ROGD Repair, one-on-one coaching, and RepairBot
